The Night of the Ad Eaters

For one night, the Winter Theater, which is located in the very center of Sochi, will be reincarnated instead of the power of the entire fashionable community of the resort capital of Russia.

For the first time, "The Night of the Advertising Eaters" was shown in 1981 at the Kinopanorama cinema in Paris. The audience, who came to the premiere night screening of "La Nuit des Publivores" (literally, the French "Night of the Commercials"), saw a selection of commercials shot in different countries from 1935 to 1981, consisting of 5 blocks.

The founder of the Night of the Eaters of Advertising, Frenchman Jean Marie Boursicault, began collecting commercials as a child, which were pasted into films and then discarded as unnecessary. It was these videos that became the beginning of a unique collection, which today is known as the Cinematheque by Jean Marie Boursicault, which contains more than a million commercials. It is recognized as a national treasure of France and is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest private collection of commercials in the world, and "Night of the Ad Eaters" is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest-running show associated with the display of commercials.
