The opening ceremony of the Antares Film Festival is an exclusive event where Russian and foreign film stars will walk the red carpet, and guests of the ceremony will be able to get their autographs and take exclusive photos.
The highlight of the evening is the gala concert of the State Kremlin Orchestra consisting of 80 musicians conducted by maestro Konstantin Chudovsky with a program of legendary film melodies.
The program also includes a presentation of competitive screenings, juries and creative meetings, an exhibition of paintings by Nikas Safronov.
Movie stars from Russia and abroad, guests from the Cannes Film Festival, legendary directors, producers, screenwriters — they will all pass in front of you. You will find yourself in the very heart of the event, where every guest of the ceremony can not only watch, but also walk along the red carpet, feel like a part of the film festival, get an autograph from their favorite star and take a photo that millions dream of. Journalists from federal TV channels and mass media will work at the event.
The Antares Festival is dedicated to the Man of Work, and at this ceremony, workers of different professions will share the red carpet with those who create films – this is a Parade of professions on the Red Carpet.
The ceremony in the great hall will feature star participants, honored guests, members of the jury and the organizing committee, and of course a program of films, business sessions, workshops, and creative meetings.
As well as a gala concert by the State Kremlin Orchestra of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation under the direction of Maestro Konstantin Chudovsky. Legendary tunes from your favorite movies will be played:
- Overture by Isaac Dunaevsky from "Children of Captain Grant"
- Waltz by Dmitry Shostakovich from the "First Echelon"
- Waltz and Romance by Georgy Sviridov from "Snowstorm"
- Fragments from the ballet "Romeo and Juliet" by Sergei Prokofiev
- A melody by Eduard Artemyev from "A friend among strangers, a stranger among his own"
- Georgy Sviridov's rumba from "Time, Forward!"
- Dmitry Shostakovich's "Romance" from Gadfly
- Tarantella by Valery Gavrilin from the ballet "Anyuta"
- Andrey Petrov's waltz from "Beware of the Car"
- "Snow over Leningrad" by Mikaela Tariverdieva from "Irony of Fate, or With a light steam!"
- "Gaidai Suite" by Alexander Zatsepin (music from Leonid Gaidai's films)
A collection of 30 works by the most famous Russian artist Nikas Safronov, Portraits of Great Cinematographers, will be presented in the hall of the palace.
