As part of the grand opening ceremony of the Second International Antares Film Festival, whose program is dedicated to the Worker, a landmark event took place: the ceremony awarding the "Professional" honorary badge to outstanding specialists from various industries.
The award ceremony, hosted by stars of Russian cinema, became an act of deep public recognition of these individuals' contributions. The very concept of the festival, where the central characters of the films are representatives of real professions, underscores the importance of this event. It is precisely such masters, whose work forms the foundation of society, who deserve to have their stories reach a wide audience and serve as prototypes for characters in major motion pictures.
The ceremony was given a special air of grandeur by the participation of renowned actress Evelina Bledans, who served as the host. Her presence added a unique charm to the event and highlighted the importance of dialogue between the cultural community and the real sector of the economy.
The candidates for the award were presented by the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions. A significant portion of the laureates are winners of the prestigious city professional skills competition "Moscow Masters," which further confirms their exceptional caliber and recognition at the highest level.

The culmination of the awards ceremony was the keynote speech by the President of the Antares Film Festival, Aleksandr Khalimovsky. In his address, with particular warmth and sincerity, he emphasized the invaluable significance of every profession, noting that labor is the true backbone and heritage of the nation.
The President of the Film Festival reaffirmed the unwavering commitment to the festival's mission: to serve the cause of promoting various crafts and professions, to revive respect for vocational education, and, most importantly, to tirelessly enhance the prestige of the Worker. The organizers see this mission not merely as a Russian one, but as truly universal, and the festival strives to carry this bright message across the globe.
"And in this pursuit," noted Aleksandr Khalimovsky, "Russia, with its rich labor traditions and immense professional experience, rightfully stands as the flagship and an inspiring example for the entire international community. And our Antares Film Festival is a living, vivid, and eloquent testament to this—a bridge connecting the hearts of workers from different countries."
His words, filled with deep faith in working people, resonated warmly in the hearts of all the ceremony guests, creating a unique, heartfelt atmosphere of unity and pride for those whose daily efforts shape the present and the future.
