Star landing at “Antares”: Valery Barinov, Vitaly Kishchenko, and other well-known cultural figures attended the screening of the competition film “The Hills”

Moscow, September 18 — The competition screening of the film “The Hills” by director Mikhail Krupin became one of the brightest events of the III International Film Festival “Antares.” The cinema and concert hall “Antares Hall” was full of viewers who came to see the new work of a graduate of the workshop of V.I. Khotinenko, P.K. Finn, and V.A. Fenchenko.

The main surprise of the evening was the appearance on stage of a whole galaxy of well-known cultural figures. The hall greeted Valery Alexandrovich Barinov, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, holder of the Order of Honor and the Order of Friendship, laureate of the First Theater Award “Crystal Turandot” in the nomination “For Honor, Dignity, and Service to the Audience.” In the film, Valery Alexandrovich played the role of the publisher.

Also present at the screening was Vitaly Eduardovich Kishchenko, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, laureate of the 3rd FSB of Russia Award in the field of art for his role in the feature film “The White Tiger,” laureate of the “Golden Mask” award in the nomination “Best Male Role” and other awards. In “The Hills,” Kishchenko played a policeman — one of the key roles in the picture.

Besides them, the following were present at the screening:

· Alexander Alexandrovich Ilyin (Alexander Ilyin Jr.) — Russian theater and film actor, vocalist of the punk band “Plan Lomonosova,” representative of the Ilyin acting dynasty in the third generation;

· Evklid Kiriakovich Kyurdzidis — Russian theater and film actor, Honored Artist of Russia, Honored Artist of South Ossetia, president of the film festival “Crystal Spring”;

· Gennady Viktorovich Nemykh — Belarusian and Russian cinematographer, director of photography of more than 50 films and series, graduate of the cinematography faculty of VGIK;

· Vladimir Dmitrievich Dyachenko — Russian screenwriter, author of scripts for the well-known series “Freud’s Method,” “The Black Staircase,” “The Time-Server,” “Soldiers,” author of 14 plays and more than 20 projects for cinema and television;

· Vera Andreevna Fedorchenko — Soviet documentary film director, graduate of VGIK in 1968, creator of more than one hundred documentaries;

· Alexander Vasilievich Kozlov — maritime writer, captain 2nd rank in reserve, member of the Union of Writers of the Russian Federation, laureate of the All-Russian Prize “For Loyalty to the Word and the Fatherland” named after Anton Delvig and other literary awards;

· Inga Valentinovna Kondratenko — Russian opera singer, soloist of the FSO orchestra, laureate of international competitions;

· Pavel Sosedov — well-known society journalist and film critic, correspondent of the magazine “7 Days,” member of the Union of Journalists of Moscow.

“The Hills” is a dacha-criminal parable, filmed based on the stories of Karel Čapek, but transferred to modern Russian soil. Minister’s adviser Evgeny Pavlovich lives in an elite village, but one day discovers that he has been robbed by unknown persons, and a laptop with secret documents has disappeared without a trace. On different banks of the river live a high-ranking official and a repeat offender, a young hacker and a self-taught poet — a confluence of circumstances brings them together in a conflict of interests.

Viewers noted the brilliant acting ensemble: besides Barinov and Kishchenko, the film features Alexander Ilyin (Jr.), Boris Tokarev, Mikhail Filippov, Valentina Mazunina, Devi Nair, and others. A particular impression on the public was made by the episode of a parallel feast in a peasant hut and a cottage, where simple people and the elite sing the same songs, but perceive poetry differently.

The film “The Hills” (profession — policeman, 107 min, Russia) continues the competition program of the festival. We wish the film victory and great audience success!
